It's all about RESPECT!

This year our whole staff is dedicated to a new school-wide behavior policy, which is called PBIS.  What is PBIS?  PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.  PBIS empowers students and teachers by rewarding expected behaviors. These expected behaviors are explicitly taught. Positive behaviors and actions are then rewarded.
These rewards are called "Eagle Feathers."  The students will then enter their Eagle Feathers into drawings that will be held twice a quarter. They can also use their Feathers to buy items in the Eagle Store. Items that may be featured in the Store include school spirit gear, extra credit in a class of choice, and lots of other fun things.  We are excited to be able to reward and recognize those students who follow expectations!

There is also a very straight forward process for times when students may not follow expectations.  This provides consistency for the students, teachers, and parents. The main premise of this program is for everyone to: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe.  This is expected of students at all times when they are on our campus.

To read more about the program, you can download or view any of the documents below. As usual, if you have questions regarding the program, you may call us anytime!
