A new and exciting project is taking place at Joseph Charter School. In conjunction with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service, we will be creating a pollinator garden at the Magic Garden space that will be an educational space for students. The pollinator garden is part of a larger schoolyard habitat project to get kids outside learning about pollinators, bugs, plants, and other critters while having fun learning! To help create the space, there will be a work day on Friday, October 26th at 10:00 a.m. Bring your garden gloves; activities will include weeding, removing decadent vegetation, digging soil, adding compost, and having fun! If you have questions, please call Gretchen Sausen at (541) 962-8695. Also, please see the flyer below. *** The work day has been rescheduled due to poor weather conditions. We will keep you updated as to when the next work day will be! |
