7th Grade Art

 

Description:

                This course will meet twice a week to provide students with the opportunity to develop skills in a variety of artistic disciplines.  Students will study the fundamental skills of art and be given the opportunity to express themselves through the visual arts.  Areas of emphasis will be visual literacy, drawing in a variety of media, principles and elements of two-dimensional and three dimensional design, sculpture, water color painting, acrylic painting and printmaking.
