Christmas Tree Donations!
As a community service/giving project the JCS second grade class presented handmade Christmas trees to Wallowa Memorial Hospital. These trees were intended to decorate the hospital and patient rooms to spread holiday cheer to anyone spending their holiday in the hospital. The donation presentation was accompanied by a brief explanation of the project and caroling to the hospital staff. After the presentation at the hospital, students went-a-caroling next door at Winding Waters Clinic.
Caroling Around Joseph!
The kindergarten through fourth grade classes of Joseph Charter School went caroling in downtown Joseph and also presented local businesses with Thank You cards. This activity provided a way for the students to give back to our local community and say thank you for all of the support that the community members and local businesses give our school.
Students and teachers showed their holiday spirit by donning their best (or worst) sweater on the last day of classes before the holiday break!
