Post date: Mar 22, 2012 7:50:33 PM
Our K-6 students will be offered a wonderful opportunity to work with two artists-in-residence once they return from Spring Break. The 7th-12th grade students just recently wrapped up their art courses which were taught by a variety of local artists, and now the K-6 grade students will have their turn to learn from some very talented artists.
We are happy and excited to welcome Jack Coelho, who will be working with our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. Jack will be here for the week of Monday, April 2nd - Thursday, April 5th. He will be focusing on sculpting with clay, as well as doing some pottery. Jack is a local artist who lives in Joseph, and we are very thankful that he will be sharing his talents with our students.
Jeanne Leffingwell will be teaching the K-3 students about beading. Jeanne will be able to work with the students for an hour and 20 minutes on Monday, April 2nd - Wednesday, April 4th. We encourage parents to come up to the school and see the fun!
